This course is perfect for the complete novice wanting an introduction into flower arranging or beginning their journey into floristry. We will look at all the basic skills and knowledge required, including the following:

- Plant materials - types of flowers and foliage available and different stem types
- Shapes of flowers and how they are used in design
- Basic shapes and styles of design
- Principles and elements
- Using floral foam and different types
- Health and safety - use of floristry equipment
Designs covered:
- Day one - Tied and foam designs
